First Look: Peek Inside The New Vintage Martini on Henderson Avenue in Dallas!

Love vintage shopping? 2923 North Henderson Avenue may just become your new home away from home. There, behind craft paper-covered windows and a deceptively unassuming front door, celebrated North Texas emporium Vintage Martini prepares for a Dallas relocation and expansion. Today, we have an exclusive first look!

Named one of Dallas’ best boutiques by Vogue, and a favorite stop for Hollywood wardrobe stylists, Vintage Martini has enjoyed a popular six-year run in Carrollton’s historic downtown square. An ever-growing fan base and expanding collection, however, prompted co-owner Ken Weber’s recent realization, “We needed to get into Dallas.”

Cue months of real estate reconnaissance, culminating in charm at first sight upon the Martini team’s visit to a vacant space in the Potter’s Square development at I-75 and booming Henderson Avenue. Roughly two-thirds again the size of the original, and neighboring hotspots like Hibiscus, Sissy’s, Victor Tango, the Dram, and the Porch, the new Vintage Martini couldn’t be more ideally situated to serve a stylish and savvy Dallas clientele.

As Weber and friends take the next two weeks to ready their new space, DFW Style Daily was invited for a sneak peek inside. The photos featured herein offer just a glimpse at the vintage shopping Mecca to come, plus, we’ve learned some tempting details about new offerings and partnerships.

Vintage Martini is known as a destination for designer finds from decades past. Its collection includes more of the likes of ChanelYSLHermès, and Gucci than most of us will ever see in a lifetime. Racks upon racks of these treasures sit patiently for the arrival of Dallas shoppers at the new store, along with a recently acquired stash of designer bags and fresh consignments. Weber confesses, “We have been hoarding like crazy.”

In addition to housing Martini’s own mix of clothing and accessories, the new spot will include a multi-vendor component by way of Factory Girl and The Lush Life Antiques, just for starters. The former, after shuttering its chic, stand-alone space in Deep Ellum, will soon offer designer treasures exclusively at Vintage Martini. As for Lush Life, Dallas-based expert Erik Yang’s collection of antique and couture gems will tempt any jewelry fanatic. Finally, a full wing of the new Vintage Martini will be dubbed “Martini Man,” filled with finds just for him and various mantiques. Throughout the space, reclaimed wood and hardware are repurposed as fixtures; exposed brick walls lend a loft-like appeal.

All this and more adds up to what Weber describes as a “dream store,” ready to fulfill any and all vintage fantasies. The original Vintage Martini in Carrollton will bid farewell on Sunday, June 22. Mark your calendars with a gold star for the new store’s debut on Tuesday, July 1 at 2923 North Henderson Avenue in Dallas. Even better – shhhh – we’ve heard from a very reliable source that a soft opening may begin as soon as Saturday, June 28.

Congratulations to Vintage Martini from all of us at DFW Style Daily. We’ll be seeing and shopping with you soon!
