Gorgeous c.1912 evening coat or very fancy robe in a fuchsia velvet and trimmed in white floral lace. Dropped, dolman style sleeves are very interesting in design that I'm not even going to try to explain. Hook and eye closures down the front. The coat is unlined.
Condition: Minor wear to the velvet on the shoulders. Some small pin holes in the lace. I'm guessing this had a remake. The lace was removed and soaked. The hooks were replaced. One pea size spot on the front skirt partially under the lace. Something is missing at the center front waist, just above the lace. Decorative buttons maybe?
