Special Features: Incredible late 18th century mens breeches in a green silk brocade. The fall front breechess have covered buttons fastening on the wide wasitband and an inset welt pocket on the right side front. The front flap attaches with metal buttons across the front of the breeches. There is fullness through the seat and legs tapering to below the knees ending with button closures down the sides and button closing band at the hem. There are suspender straps partially attached made from linen as well as some silk brocade remnants.
Condition: The breeches are in really remarkable condition. There is one metal button missing on the flap. Some wear on several of the buttons. The suspender straps are badly damage. No apparent splitting in the silk. There are also stains on the lining.
