The ombre of palettes fall from dark blue to copper with the iconic pilgrim buckle at the center attached to the envelope flap. The snap closure opens to a satin lining with multiple patch pockets. The back of the purse also has a flap which opens to another compartment. Still has the dust bag. Below is the article written by Luxury Insider about the launch of this partnership with Ambra Medda.
Roger Vivier collaborated with Ambra Medda for its latest Fall Winter 2014-2015 campaign, which features the Maison’s Miss Viv’ bag and other Roger Vivier icons. Ambra is the co-founder and Creative Director of L’ArcoBaleno, an online marketplace dedicated to collectible design. Roger Vivier’s decision to enlist the Ambra in its campaign makes sense as its Miss Viv’ bag suits her sensibility as she moves between the worlds of art and design. Ambra and Miss Viv’ make the perfect pair as the two classic beauties embody a taste for great design and style.
“Ambra has a universal beauty. She could be the protagonist of a South American novel, an Indian princess or an Italian aristocrat…She is truly the queen of the design world, with an eye for the finest, always with a cross-cultural appeal. Roger Vivier is likewise universal, spanning decades with elegance: The alliance is a natural fit.” says Roger Vivier brand ambassador, Ines de La Fressange.
The unique collaboration between Roger Vivier and Ambra Medda led to the creation of the Limited Edition Miss Viv’ L’ArcoBaleno – Ambra’s website’s name which means “rainbow” in Italian. Available from October in selected Roger Vivier boutiques around the world, the limited edition bag will be adorned with shaded rainbow sequins, satin and silver metal details. The Miss Viv’ L’Arcobaleno also marks the beginning of a Limited Edition Miss Viv’ series that will be presented every season with different creativities.
