Description: A sculptural Pierre Cardin jacket from 1984, tailored in heathered lavender wool and defined by its striking architectural silhouette. The cropped design features a minimalist collarless neckline and a clean, streamlined body punctuated by oversized black buttons that create a bold graphic contrast against the softly mottled fabric. Dramatically structured sleeves rise from the shoulders in exaggerated, angular volumes before tapering toward the wrist, showcasing Cardin's mastery of geometric construction and his enduring fascination with futuristic form. The back remains deliberately unadorned, allowing the powerful proportions and precise tailoring to take center stage. Balancing simplicity with avant-garde design, the jacket exemplifies the designer's 1980s vision of modern elegance, where sculptural shape and impeccable craftsmanship transform a classic wool garment into a wearable work of art.
Condition: Gently Worn with no obvious damage.
