We’re thrilled to offer a rare opportunity to offer garments directly from the officialPierre Cardin archives. Each piece was personally selected by us and is being released to the public for the very first time. Every garment features a “PIERRE CARDIN HERITAGE” cloth label, hand-stitched inside, signifying its authenticity and origin from the historic archives and its place in fashion history.

This is possibly the runway garment from the show. Many of these pieces still bear model names or line-up numbers on the inside.

Description: From Pierre Cardin’s 1998 collection, this luminous evening dress combines fluid movement with celestial-inspired surface design, showcasing the designer’s enduring fascination with futurism and light. Suspended from delicate spaghetti straps, the silhouette features a softly draped overlay bodice and a flowing accordion-pleated chiffon skirt that falls into an elegant asymmetrical handkerchief hem, creating dramatic motion and transparency as the wearer moves. Woven throughout the black chiffon is a striking blue and purple lamé pattern, its shimmering abstract forms and cascading metallic threads appearing like constellations, meteor showers, or streams of cosmic light across the garment’s surface. The interplay of pleating, iridescent lamé, and sheer layered construction transforms the dress into a study of movement and luminosity, embodying Cardin’s ability to merge romantic eveningwear with the visionary Space Age aesthetic that remained central to his design language.
