FROM THE PIERRE CARDIN ARCHIVES!
We’re thrilled to offer a rare opportunity to offer garments directly from the official Pierre Cardin archives. Each piece was personally selected by us and is being released to the public for the very first time. Every garment features a “PIERRE CARDIN HERITAGE” cloth label, hand-stitched inside, signifying its authenticity and origin from the historic archives and its place in fashion history.
Year: 2002
*Cardin's ready-to-wear presentations are considered couture or demi-couture since the garments never went into production for stores and were made custom for clients or the runway models were sold in the boutique sometimes featuring the boutique label.
This is the runway garment from the show. Many of these pieces still bear model names or line-up numbers on the inside.

Description: 2002 Pierre Cardin sleeveless evening dress featuring a finely striped navy and ivory knit bodice accented with a sculptural satin bow at the bust. Cut in a sleek, elongated silhouette, the dress hugs the body through the hips before flaring dramatically into a tiered navy taffeta skirt that cascades into an asymmetrical mermaid-inspired hemline. The interplay between the crisp linear stripes and the voluminous sculptural ruffles creates a striking contrast, highlighting Cardin’s continued exploration of geometric design and architectural form. Refined yet theatrical, the design balances nautical-inspired elegance with couture sensibilities, resulting in a sophisticated statement piece emblematic of Pierre Cardin’s early 2000s aesthetic.
Condition: Gently worn with no obvious damage.
Item: #128422
