Moschino Fall 2022 rayon crepe blouse from Jeremy Scott’s irreverent “Mansion” collection, inspired by the opulent interiors and domestic characters of Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. The classic black short-sleeved blouse is given a distinctly Moschino twist with a rounded Peter Pan collar trimmed in gathered white ruffles and embroidered in bold white lettering with “MAID IN ITALY”—a playful reinterpretation of the traditional “Made in Italy” designation. The tongue-in-cheek motif was part of Scott’s broader exploration of domestic uniforms and household references throughout the collection, which included a maid-inspired look bearing the same phrase.
